Volunteer

We welcome the talent and enthusiasm of volunteers who work with us on projects, in communications, on fundraising and in other areas.

Assignments are available on a part-time or full-time basis throughout the year, and include "virtual" opportunities.

Some things volunteers do:
● Creating posters and artwork
● Developing and managing the website
● Translations among English, French, and Spanish
● Serving on fundraising teams
● Hosting events in Madagascar, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and at the UN.

Country or regional experience and language skills are particularly helpful.

For information on those who have volunteered with PPAF, please see the "Volunteer" section under "About Us."

Group photos outdoors and indoors with masks.

Volunteer Teams

Graduate students have worked as consulting teams with the Foundation on research-action projects, usually as part of their academic program.

They have worked on project documentation for Haiti, handicrafts marketing in Madagascar, evaluation of an education project in the Dominican Republic, promotion of microfinance in Madagascar and the Dominican Republic, and support for organizing seminars at the UN in New York.
